I often get the idea that most people have a preconceived mental picture on what eco-friendly and going green looks like. It usually involves hemp draping, tie-dye and eating organic carrots.
Well … while doing some research on Green Living I discovered this great initiative; ECO a one-stop-eco-shop. Here you can buy eco-friendly products get ideas and advice, hey you can even have a cup of tea while looking at wind turbines.
Their vision: to create a full-service one-stop-shop in which people can find inspiration, ideas, advice, and apply concrete solutions for green living. The ECO answer is compelling: improvement without compromise.
And what I liked most about their products is that it is edgy, designer pieces that could fit both traditional and contemporary homes.
The only pity is that this shop is in London (arrrrrrr). I wonder if there are similar shops in SA. Lemme know, we would love to hear from you.
Ps: Forgot to mention the yummy Colin Firth is co-owner of the shop….Oh Darcy!
