As a child I use to love playing house, building make-shift castles from cardboard boxes, sheets, blankets, well basically anything we could steel from the house without my mother noticing!
My kids do the same, however, they are more fortunate than we were (Oh I so sound like my MOTHER!) they have a ready made playhouse in the form of a Winnie the Pooh tent and will soon (if my husband caves) boast their very own Wendy playhouse.
While doing some research on creative playhouses I found this interesting concept on Springwise it is from a company in the Netherlands - qb playhouse. Not only do they provide creative looking playhouses, but they involve the children in designing process and best of all… it is a Green product as the playhouses are made from sustainable wood.
The qb playhouse is completely customisable, giving children the option to pick their own colours and patterns for doors, windows and siding. Those seeking to be entirely unique can upload a pattern, drawing or text of their own design. qb playhouses are available in three unorthodox shapes - Original, Tree and City.
Definitely not at the low end of the market, the houses are priced from EUR 1,499 to 1,799.
