Tuesday’s Tip

Hestelle Robinson

33 days to Christmas today!  True to my deadline driven nature I’m normally a last-minute-girl, I get my best ideas in the eleventh hour (or in the shower) and perform at my peak when a deadline is blowing down my neck.  But this year, is a bit different, 33 days to Christmas and my table decor is really taking shape, not only in my head but for real.

I told you before that I’m planning a paper inspired table, another strange thing for me as paper craft is not my best.  The scrap-booking thing did not even make a brief stop on my craft table.  ‘Tis truly the season for new things!

Today’s Tip:

Christmas tree decorations made from card board boxes, and yes another lill current obsession, birdies.  Easy enough to do, find bird silhouettes you like, trace them onto cardboard boxes, grab your craft knife and cut.

How clever is this serviette “f’ling” (fly-ring)!

These Christmas decorations, made from cardboard boxes are not only pretty and affordable, but green too, another excellent upcyled example.
