Décor & Accessories

When first moving into a new house the first thing you want to do is put our own personal stamp on it. Your instinct is to immediately improve it, this could range from choosing a new colour scheme to structural changes.

When it comes to interior and exterior decorating, what looked absolutely fabulous and was in fashion in the 70's is no longer relevant. Most of us lack the energy and finances to continually redecorate our homes. Fortunately, it is possible to keep up to date with decorating trends and improve our homes without throwing everything out or spend a fortune. This can be done by keeping abreast of fads and fashion and knowing about what is new without buying everything the style gurus suggest. Don't make a purchase decision until you identify what you like and what would work in your home to give it an updated look.

You may only need to add or subtract accessories, or simply introduce a new colour either on the walls or in soft furnishings. Either way, you must be comfortable in your own home, and your decor style should be an extension of you and your family.
