Cobra offers a comprehensive range of conventional hot water cylinders, designed to satisfy all possible applications and requirements.
The high-pressure hot water cylinders of choice for most establishments are the Cobra Megaflo Dual and the Cobra 400 Dual Standard or Slim-line.
The units come in 100, 150, 200 or 250 litres and can be installed horizontally or vertically. Cobra says, however, that the 200 and 250 litre geysers – due to weight - are not geared for wall mountings.
All these geysers are engineered to provide greater insulation due to the polyurethane insulation between the inner cylinder and outer casement that helps to reduce energy and heat loss. It also has double anodes for additional protection against corrosion.
Cobra’s inner cylinders are manufactured with 1.6mm steel (Cobra 400 Dual Standard or Slim-line) while the Cobra Megaflo is constructed with 2mm steel. The use of thermofused porcelain enamel ensures hygiene and longevity.
Cobra offers a six-year guarantee on the inner cylinder of the Megaflo and five years on the Cobra 400 Dual Standard or Slim-line, subject to water conditions equivalent to main Metropolitan supply authorities.
There is one-year guarantee on the spiral element, thermostat, isolator switch, flange assembly plate and gasket and two-years on the safety valve and drain cock.
