Children get bored very easily and we all know what they get up to if this is the case – have you ever come home to utter chaos and crayon paintings on your freshly painted walls? Or is your teenager going through his / her poster phase, leaving you feeling painfully nervous about all the Prestick stains?  And have you been told very calmly that you can not flip out about this, as this is “their” space in which they need to feel comfortable in – and this is definitely not possible without Edward, the vampire, staring at them from each corner of their room? Or is the flip side of the coin true, and you are seeking some inspiration and creativity for your unborn baby’s nursery walls?

Well, if you answered yes to any of the questions above, it is certainly time for you to get with the programme! There are various fun and creative wall coverings out there, just waiting to grace your childrens’ bedroom walls – they are about a 100 times better than any poster – and best of all is that if you get him/her involved, they might just see it your way!

We did some research and found the coolest wall coverings and wall covering ideas. We hope that you find these useful. Happy decorating!

Wall stickers are a great way to create a focus wall or area.

You could either choose a design that reflects in your curtains, cushions or upholstery like a floral or damask pattern or you could go for something more figurative that will make a bold statement like a tree branch, birdcage, pot plant, city skyline etc.” These stickers also work well on any smooth walls, glass, tiles, appliances, cupboard doors, laptops etc. It is durable, washable and can even be used on cars or inside showers and bathrooms.
