The sixteenth Cape HOMEMAKERS Expo, which took place from Thursday (1 September) to Sunday (4 September) at the CTICC, was again a roaring success  with more than 350 exhibitors and attracting close to 38 000 visitors.

According to Mr John Leyden, Business Development Director for HOMEMAKERS, the standard of exhibits was nothing short of excellent.

“We’re very impressed with the ingenious ways some exhibitors utilised their space and the effort to present their products and services to the public in the finest way possible. The CTICC was transformed into a one stop home improvement and interior decorating space for the four days of the expo. General feedback from exhibitors indicates that business was excellent, with record breaking sales experienced by some.

“With the positive feedback from exhibitors, this year’s expo will certainly give the home improvement industry in the Western Cape a much needed boost and the feedback once again shows that expos are an important component of a company’s marketing strategy. For the duration of the four days close to 38 000 visitors were exposed to over 350 products. Our attendance rate has increased with a further 13%, signifying that there is a definite revival in the interest taken in home improvements,” says Leyden.

We’re definitely doing this again next year, so join us at the annual Cape HOMEMAKERS Expo from 23 to 26 August 2012 at the CTICC,” Leyden concluded.
