Whilst it is not as durable as granite, if it is correctly sealed and installed, it can last aeons. Dolomite, a sedimentary rock, has stunning hues of grey and white and often resembles marble so closely that they are mistaken for each other. It is, however, not as hard as quartzite and will require regular sealing like marble, but it will, in turn, outperform marble in durability.
